Since Opus Domini is able to sync your database with your iCloud account, you will be able to access your digital planner from virtually anywhere: the developers also provide the Opus Domini Mobile Pro app which can be used on your iOS device (iPad or iPhone).
iCloud sync support for fast and easy syncing between your Mac and your iOS devices Thanks.Designed to eliminate your physical leather planner, Opus Domini provides a digital counterpart to most of its features, but also a plethora of additional capabilities. If someone did try this and not restore the application itself and it worked, then could you kindly let me know ? I will add the info in to my entry. What I DO RECOMMEND is that you back up files even though you have the Time Machine running. So I DO NOT recommend that you do this except that if you were to try, you do this at your own cost/risk. In retrospect I don't think that you need to restore the application itself. Macintosh HD > Application > Opus Domini (thanks Patty ! there's no need to do this one !) If you have the Opus Domini folder selected, for some reason, it will show up the content of the file rather than the folder when opened in the Time Machine. And for the Opus Domini file in Application Support file, have the Application Support file opened then go into Time Machine. These are system files so you really need to have it open in your finder before going into time machine or else you cannot navigate yourself to those files. So I proceeded once again for each file, visible in finder then go into time machine, select a particular time that I was sure the file was all intact ( I selected the dead of the night time when nothing was open but the carbonite quietly filing things away) and recover and replace the current files.
I really don't have any idea about this but.
I thought I would decline from revealing on the web just in case it is my device or application id number or something. (that ********** is a combo of numbers and capital alphabets. Your user folder > Library > Mobile Documents > **********~com~piso13~opusDomini why ? I don't know.) system library file and voila ! I found this. Where is the freaking file that contain my last night's effort ?! so I started raking through (oh by the way I did try to search using finder's spot light through system files but somehow couldn't locate the crucial file. My next try was to recover application itself on top of the above recovery. Your user folder > Library > Preferences > Your user folder > Library > Application Support > Opus Domini I don't know what I did right in the end but first I recovered from my time machine the following But it turned out that the file system is a little complicated than I thought, you know, not just simply locating 'opus domini' file in your local folder's 'application support'. Well, initially I wasn't so concerned since I have my time machine backing things up every hour or so. I tried to fetch my last back up but that was like 4 days ago and I desperately needed what I've written last night. somehow I deleted my important journal entries by supposedly migrating my most important MBP local file to iCloud but somewhat it was backwards ? overwritten it. Still don't understand this opus domini's local file thingy.
